Shorts on Fire 2: Killer Style

A serial killer learns how a new look can boost self-esteem.
As the second film in my weekly challenge, I wanted to accomplish as many misdirects as possible, create moments of real fear, as well as real humor.
I decided on an unusual relationship between a serial killer and his victim as the premise.
I’m always trying to find something human and honest in the absurd.
As delightfully dumb as this is, it does deal with how our self-image affects confidence and self-worth.
It’s basically Queer Eye for a serial killer and that’s pretty warm and fuzzy.
The closing line encapsulates perfectly the journey of healing the serial killer completes.
“I’ve never felt so good in my skin. And I’m about to feel even better in yours.”
